By following a well-established tradition in time, the Comprehensive School Fiesso Umbertiano, in collaboration with "Eur.adi . po.net ", celebrated the European Day on the morning of Wednesday, May 9, 2007.
The event was attended by students scuola secondaria di primo grado “G. Gozzano” e numerosi ospiti.
Rispettando la tradizione, la giornata è stata introdotta senza parole, con il linguaggio universale della musica: i ragazzi hanno suonato e cantato in diverse lingue l’"Inno alla gioia" di Beethoven, Inno che esprime gli ideali di libertà, pace e solidarietà perseguiti dall'Europa.
La Dirigente dell’Istituto Comprensivo ha introdotto giornata, i professori Ivo Zambello, Luigi Cuoghi Stefano Vallin hanno presentato, nell’ordine, i Valori dell’Unione Europea , le Strategie di Lisbona , l’Importanza educativa dei progetti europei e le Attività della Rete “Eur.adi.po.net”. Infine, la dottoressa Laura Grigolato ha illustrato le Attività formative nell’ambito della progettualità europea svolte dall’USRV in collaborazione con l’USP di Rovigo .
Non si è mancato di spiegare – soprattutto ai giovani studenti - le ragioni storiche per cui la "Festa dell' Unione europea" viene celebrata ogni giorno in questo anno.
