Sabato 9 maggio 2009 la rete Euradiponet ha organizzato la Festa dell'Europa 2009 a Rovigo presso l'auditorium "Paleocapa" del Liceo Scientifico. Si sono iscritti 17 istituti scolastici della Provincia di Rovigo e sono intervenute 13 scuole. Fare della scuola lo specchio di una società in cui aumentano le disuguaglianze e impera la cultura egoistica della prevaricazione.

Onda Anomala di nuovo in piazza, l'occupazione del rettorato di giovedi scorso aveva preannunciato la giornata: quest'oggi gli studenti e le studentesse dell'Assemblea No Gelmini hanno tentato di bloccare l'inaugurazione dell'anno accademico, cerimonia a cui il rettore Pelizzetti non ha voluto rinunciare, contravvenendo ad una richiesta esplicita arrivata dall'Onda nei mesi di mobilitazione d'autunno.
Lo scenario dentro il quale l'Onda si è trovata è stato quello della militarizzazione, della difesa del "fortino rettorato" per manu militari.
